Intimidator 305

One word describes this coaster. Wow! This is the only ride that I would ride all day. But, where do I begin. Well, I can't begin. The whole ride is just a blur. It's that intense.
You start by entering the comfertable 16 row trains. Get your restraint tightened before you head up the fast 305 foot cable lift hill. Be sure to look to the right and see how much you are towering over Rebel Yell, Anaconda and all of Richmond. Then, touch the sky before plummeting 300 feet toward the ground. You won't be able to see the first turn because you would be greying out. Feel the airtime of the first airtime hill. Then the whip of the crossovers and cutbacks. Then 2 airtime hills, into another crossover. Pose for your picture and go into an overbank and to the brake run. Run out as fast as you can to see your picture or your pose at 90 mph. And run to the entrance for another ride.
After feeling the rush and adrenaline of this scream machine 11 times. It's safe to say that this coaster is a 10 out of 10. If you haven't already, head to Kings Dominion now to feel the intimidation of Intimidator 305.

Storm Runner

Hershey, Pennsylvania is known as the Sweetest Place on Earth. They have a totally sweet amusement park too. Hershey Park. They have some awesome roller coasters. But, the have a very sweet Intamin Accelerator dubbed Storm Runner. This one isn't as tall as Kingda Ka or Top Thrill Dragster, but this one has a feature that the other two don't. Inversions. That's right, inversions. 3 of them in fact.

You start with a small s turn out of the duel loading station. On to the launch track. This one is very short. Unlike it's larger counter parts. Then, you launch from 0 to 72 miles per hour in less than 2 seconds. Reaching a height of 150 feet and freefalling 180 feet. Where at the bottom you reach a top speed of 75 miles per hour. In to the first inversion. An immelman that is 135 feet. Now, you go into the zero g roll. Finally, the ride holy grail. The flying snake dive. A corkscrew that dives toward the water. Under the monorail and into a wierd twist thing. And into the brake run. I really love this ride. I give it a nice 9.5 out of 10. It truly is great.
